Our Vision
Our vision for entering the labor of Jesus in Thailand is that, through the proclamation of the gospel, incarnational ministry, and intentional discipleship, Jesus will redeem many Thai people and use them to spread the gospel across Thailand and the surrounding countries.
Our Mission |
We will seek to achieve our vision by applying the gospel to hearts darkened by the wickedness of Buddhism, who have never heard the name of Jesus. This we will endeavor to do in three primary ways:
(1) Proclaim the gospel to those we encounter and with whom we develop relationships. (2) Live in a peaceful and godly manner among them; work with them, recreate with them, and relax with them. (3) Teach those whose hearts are made alive by the Word of Truth to walk by the Spirit, make disciples with us, and ordain some to go make disciples elsewhere in Thailand, and perhaps even in other parts of the world. |
Our Strategy |
We are first term missionaries with United World Mission. This means we are currently in the process of raising full-term support, and once on the field, spend the next three years acquiring language and assimilating to the culture.
Further, United World Mission is committed to supporting the Church all over the world. In Thailand, UWM supports the Thai church in various ways. They are involved in training and educating future leaders within the Thai church, meeting various needs of service within local bodies, serving refugees residing in Bangkok, and so on. At this time we are not sure how exactly we will be involved, mainly because we will spend our first term receiving the training we need to serve well. But the team in Bangkok is committed to helping us discover the path the Lord has for us. |
